Description: CNJN is committed to igniting community media, and we've recently expanded our studio capabilities to better serve Mercer County. Our studio provides resources for political figures, community leaders, and passionate individuals alike. This position offers hands-on experience in live production troubleshooting, camera operation, audio management, lighting, and client interaction.
CNJN is seeking video production specialists to join our team for a 12-week term. This is an in office position. Applicants must have reliable transportation and submit a schedule that aligns with our office hours.
As our Video Production Specialist, you'll manage live shoots and oversee all aspects of video production from start to finish. This position gives an intermediate look into multiple different facets of live production and is suggested for those who have experience working in the control room.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing client shoots
- In-Studio media acquisition
- Floor management during shoots
- Audio board management
- PTZ camera management
- Live switching coordination with directors

Basic Qualifications

Successfully pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s Degree or minor in TV Digital Media, Audio, Journalism, or a related field.
- Must be able to work in the office and have a schedule that aligns with our office hours.
Intermittent scheduling on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Must be able to interface with clients and manage shoots.
Perferred Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in the fundamentals of lighting
- Knowledgeable in the fundamentals of live audio
- Knowledgeable in the fundamentals of manual camera operation
- Control room experience
